Ministries: Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, His disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as cleaning the church, to preparing the church bulletins.

Mission Outreach

Central Coast Baptist Church is involved in Missions. We partner, along with other Southern Baptist churches, to do both International and North American missions. In addition we are active in helping within our local area of ministry through both the Five-Cities Christian Women’s Food Bank (helping with food for families), and providing facilities for Recovery meetings. Central Coast Baptist Church is currently 73rd in giving to Southern Baptist’s Co-Operative Program, out of more than 1900 California Southern Baptist Churches. The total amount of dollars given by CCBC is generally about 22-25% of what our congregation receives on an annual basis.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry.  We have an active Praise Team, which helps to lead out in Worship.  Still others can be involved in worship through drama. Our volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools in the best manner possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. We offer a prayer chain of committed members who faithfully intercede on behalf of others in need by lifting specific requests, concerns and emergency situation as well as thanking God for how He has worked in these situations.
